As you might already know, there are ten different monster elements in the game. Breeding brings about a brand new feature: Monster Essence, which also follows the element system. Each wild monster will have a unique essence depending on its experience, element, and Genus. The rarer the monster, the more essence points it will produce!
ESSENCE VALUE = (Genus Essence + (Exp / 10,000))*(1 + Perfection / 1,000)
For example:
You have a Barbeo monster (G1, Earth element) with 5,224 EXP score and 50% Perfection
Genus 1 monsterโs essence value is 21.
=> The essence score of this Barbeo is as follows:
21 + (5,224/10,000) x (1 + 50/1000) = 22.57 Earth
Monsters produce their essence according to their element. This means that earth monsters only produce earth essences. Users can also check essence value by genus group here.
Genesis Monsters play a particularly important role in breeding, as specific types are needed to breed different Artificial Monsters.
Breeding also requires Wild Monsters, a maximum of eight, to collect enough essence points.
BCMC and/or Energy can be used to improve the Breeding process. Details on this will be finalised later on based on game statistics
If all essence requirements are met, the success rate is 100%
For example, let's explore how to breed SPARLEK
According to the recipe, players must first have LEKTRA as a Genesis monster to breed SPARLEK. Next, gather enough 800 points of Electric essence, 300 points of Water essence and 200 points of Dark essences from your portfolio.
It's up to the users of to figure out the right monsters with the right quality to meet the essence point and add up not exceeding 8 monsters.
In order to have a 100% success rate, players must collect enough Genesis and essence points as the former explains. However, if players are feeling lucky, they can choose to proceed with breeding with a lower chance of success. It is worth noting that whether breeding is successful or not, the monsters will still be burnt.
Success Rate = Primary Essence Rate x 0.8 + Sub-Essence 1 Rate x 0.1 + Sub-Essence 2 Rate x 0.1
Let's look again at the SPARLEK breeding example. The recipe requires:
800 Electric + 300 Water + 200 Dark
Suppose your monsters have a very low Perfection Rate and EXP, therefore the essence score is defined solely by the Genus group:
ELECTON: G30 => 520 electric essences (primary essence)
BLOCKFIN: G17 =>210 water essences (sub-essence 1)
HAUNTA: G19 => 230 dark essence (sub-essence 2)
Breeding Success rate
(520/800)*0.8 + (210/300)*0.1 + (230/200)*0.1= 70%
Our team has been working hard to ensure that the introduction of breeding doesnโt contribute to monster inflation. For this reason, we believe that:
All wild monsters and < Level 50 Genesis monsters required in this process will be burned.
If the Genesis level is larger than 50, they will be set back 50 levels after the breeding
So why breed an artificial monster? The answer is very simple. AR monsters will turn some heads, even when compared to ultra-rare monsters like legendary or mythic, whether for collecting energy in PvE, battling opponents in PVP, or selling on the Marketplace.
Artificial monsters are some of the strongest and most visually impressive, helping players improve their lineups significantly.
This feature will be available on testnet next week (ETA 15th Nov) for users' feedback.
AR monsters will be released in batches with similar stats. The first batchโs information will be revealed at the same time as Breeding on Testnet
